• Customer platform data — call recordings, message logs, contact records and conversation metadata processed on behalf of customers who use our services.

• To respond to enquiries, schedule demos and provide the services you have requested.

3. Our role as a data processor

Where our customers use the platform to communicate with their own customers, those customers are the data controller and we act as a data processor. We process that data only on documented instructions from the customer, as set out in the applicable service agreement.

If you are an end customer of a business that uses Just Connect and you wish to exercise your rights over your data, please contact that business directly. We will support them in responding to your request.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share information only in the circumstances described below.

• With infrastructure and communication partners — including telecom operators, messaging aggregators and cloud hosting providers — strictly to deliver the service you have requested.
• With third-party platforms you have chosen to integrate, such as your CRM or helpdesk, at your direction.
• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful request from a public authority.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections continuing to apply.

5. Data retention

Website enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Platform data is retained according to the retention period agreed with each customer in their service agreement, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Call recordings and message logs are subject to configurable retention settings. Customers can request export or deletion of their data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, permission-gated access to call recordings, and access logging.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected parties and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
