1. Information we collect

We collect information in two distinct capacities: as a business operating this website, and as a service provider processing data on behalf of our customers.

• Information you give us directly — name, company, email address, phone number, and any details you include when requesting a demo or contacting us.
• Information collected automatically on this website — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring URL.
• Customer communication-platform data — call recordings, message logs, contact records and conversation metadata processed on behalf of customers who use our services.
• JustConnect HR data — employee profile, employment, attendance, leave, payroll, payment, statutory, reimbursement, loan, onboarding and workplace records provided by our customers or their authorised users.

2. How we use information

When you request a callback, we record whether you accepted the form consent statement, the version of that statement, and the submission time so we can maintain an accurate record of your request.

• To respond to enquiries, schedule demos and provide the services you have requested.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the platforms and this website.
• To send service communications such as onboarding updates, outage notices, and billing information.
• To meet legal, regulatory and telecom compliance obligations applicable to voice and messaging services.
• To provide JustConnect HR functions such as employee administration, attendance, leave, payroll, payslips, reports, notifications and authorised integrations.

3. Our role as a data processor

Where our customers use a Just Connect service to communicate with customers or manage their workforce, those customers are the data controller and we act as a data processor. We process that data only on documented instructions from the customer, as set out in the applicable service agreement.

If you are an individual whose information is managed by a business using Just Connect and you wish to exercise your rights over your data, please contact that business directly. We will support them in responding to your request.

4. JustConnect HR & Payroll

JustConnect HR & Payroll helps organisations manage their workforce. The organisation using the service determines why and how its workforce data is processed and is generally the data controller. Just Connect acts as its data processor and processes HR data on the organisation's documented instructions and according to the applicable service agreement.

The information processed depends on the features enabled by the organisation and may include the categories below.

• Employee identity and contact details — name, employee code, date of birth, gender, photograph, address, email, phone number and emergency-contact details.
• Employment and organisational records — branch, department, designation, reporting manager, shift, employment type, joining or leaving dates, status and onboarding records.
• Attendance and leave information — punch times, work hours, late or overtime minutes, attendance status, leave requests, approvals, notes and shift or holiday information.
• Optional attendance-verification data — precise location and geofence results, attendance selfies, capture method and face-match results when the organisation enables those methods and the employee uses them.
• Payroll and financial information — salary structures, earnings, deductions, tax declarations, payslips, payment records, bank-account details, advances, loans, reimbursements and statutory identifiers such as PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, PF and ESI numbers.
• Documents and service records — onboarding documents, profile files, reports, support requests, audit logs, notifications and authorised integration activity.

5. HR permissions and employee choices

Camera or location access is requested only when an enabled attendance method needs it. Location information is collected in connection with an attendance punch to assess the configured workplace geofence; the service is not intended to continuously track an employee's location. An organisation may also allow manual or one-tap attendance methods that do not require camera or location access.

If your employer or another organisation manages your information in JustConnect HR, contact that organisation first to access, correct, export or delete your records, or to question an attendance or payroll decision. We will assist the organisation in responding to valid requests as required by the service agreement and applicable law.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share information only in the circumstances described below.

• With infrastructure and communication partners — including telecom operators, messaging aggregators and cloud hosting providers — strictly to deliver the service you have requested.
• With third-party platforms a customer has chosen to integrate, such as CRM, helpdesk, accounting, payroll, banking, messaging or productivity services, at that customer's direction.
• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful request from a public authority.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections continuing to apply.

7. Data retention

Website enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Communication-platform data is retained according to the retention period agreed with each customer in their service agreement, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Call recordings and message logs are subject to configurable retention settings. Customers can request export or deletion of their data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

JustConnect HR records are retained according to the customer's instructions, service settings and agreement. Former-employee, attendance, payroll, tax and statutory records may be retained for the period the customer needs to meet employment, accounting or legal obligations. The customer may request export, correction or deletion, subject to those obligations and applicable law.

8. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, permission-gated access to sensitive records, and access logging.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected parties and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If your data is controlled by your employer or another Just Connect customer, we may refer the request to that organisation and assist it with the response.

10. Cookies, analytics and app permissions

This website uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

The JustConnect HR mobile or web app may request device permissions, including camera, photo or file access and precise location, when you use a feature that needs them. You can manage these permissions through your device or browser settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the related attendance or document-upload feature from working.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the 'last updated' date above, and where required by law we will notify you directly.
